Contribution Requirements
You should be willing to act as a mentor
to anyone who would like to use your sequence in the classroom.
You should be willing to write an
introduction describing the sequence and answering the following questions.
- What is the title of course? (point set topology, number theory, etc.)
- What is the course level? (lower-level undergrad, upper-level undergrad, 1st year
graduate, etc.)
- What is the length of course? (one semester, two semester, etc.)
- What does the course prepare the student for? (For example, if it is topology, does it
also include some measure theory or analysis results?)
- How do you teach the course? Is it a traditional Texas style course? Do you lecture and
collect problems? The audience may not know what a "traditional Texas course"
is, so your description is very important.
